For your information:
Decaying tree stumps pose a likely threat of fungal attack of honey fungus. This endemic fungus feeds on stumps. Both the Royal Horticultural Society, and Forestry Commission advise the removal of tree stumps in the Anglia Region. Indeed, the F/C go to great expense to extract tree stumps after a forest sector has been harvested for its timber.
You would be wise to follow the advise of professionals, by getting rid of your tree stumps.
We at stumpBusters cover the U.K. where ever you are,--- we are.
